Easy Homemade Sourdough Breadcrumbs

You’ll be pleased to know that delicious bread crumbs come from a variety of bread. You can use whatever you want!

Gather your pieces of bread, and cut the larger pieces into smaller, more manageable pieces

Arrange them on a parchment lined baking sheet. You can leave them to dry out at room temperature for 24 hours. Or if you’re in a hurry, you can speed up the process using your oven.

Allow the bread pieces to cool, until they’re warm when touched. Add them to a food processor bowl, then pulse on high speed

Spread these crumbs onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in an oven for 15 minutes.

Once your homemade breadcrumbs have cooled entirely, add them back to the bowl of your food processor, and process on high speed
