Sourdough Discard Granola Bars Recipe

INGREDIENTS

– 1 cup sourdough discard – ½ cup honey or maple syrup – 2 tsp vanilla extract – 1 ripe banana (mashed) – 2 cups rolled oats – 1 cup oat flour

– 1 cup raw, sliced almonds – ½ cup pepitas – 1 cup dried blueberries – ½ cup dried dates – ½ tsp ground cinnamon – ½ tsp sea salt

1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Line a 9-inch baking tray with parchment paper, and spray both the parchment paper and baking tray with cooking spray. Set this aside.

3. Stir the dry ingredients, including the fruits and nuts.

4. Combine vanilla, sourdough starter, and honey in a separate bowl.
